| I am an INTP (I'm approximately 78% certain) and a male (100% certain, as I have proof :;grins::) I'm really wanting to go and check out some ESFp girls, see what it might be like around my theoretical Dual. So technically I'll be asking a few questions in one. First, have any INTps here actually been in a long-term relationship with an ESFp, and what was it like / what were the stages in the process? Secondly, how can you pick them apart from ENFps and ESFjs, with a focus on meeting them online? Are there any reliable signs, such as choice of favorite quotes in signatures, style of writing, etc.? I'm extremely cocky and sarcastic, some I believe to be ExFxs will frown on it, others will bite back. If that's too much, just please just stick to the basic premise. -- MD |

And you were the one who initiated it. And that's very uncommon here. If I would want to have personal interaction with someone here, I would still wait to the end of the world, for them to take the iniative. @A20. You have to wake up and see the world as it is. It's not what I consider to worthwhile or worthless. For starters, most people are self destructive. No "target" has more rationality than self preservation. Just because people can make rationalizations of their inrational behaviour, doesn't make the behaviour rational. -- INTp |

INTps are uite capable of taking initiative, and in fact I have long since come to realize that if you want something you have to make some effort to get it. If you will look again, I dropped hints and waited to see if she would bite or not, and when no both times let the matter be. I am not inclined to take initiative myself, but at least I understand that events do not occur without some kind of trigger, therefore my "initiative" was strategic in nature and not born of a propensity towards it. You just need to learn more about socionics. It's obvious that you can't be INTp. Lacking iniative is the main problem of INTps, because of having  as the dual-seeking function. You probably are a type that has as 3rd or 4th function, because you have managed to overcome some of the problems. You are probably either INTj or ENTp. How you describe yourself could very well be ENTp, ENTp's can be withdrawn in the sense you have described yourself here. What would you say is the main reason why you behave in socially introverted manner? Also this:" Then your criteria is structurally unstable.", is a very  argument. "Type is no excuse for stupidity, ever." If that's so, why don't you just always behave in a socially extroverted manner? It's not question of "stupid", is question of psychological capability. | A25 MD, I read all your contributions to this site and I think that you could consider being an ENTj. I agree with INTp as regards the Se as the 3rd function = ENTj. | A27 A24: Hm. That'll be four people saying I'm likely not INTp. If that's so, then my entire viewpoint is going to have to have an angle change if I'm to master the system appropriately. Lovely. Right, to answer your questions: It's not entirely clear to me why I behave in an introverted manner, there are probably a few factors. I think the main one is simply that I'm not interested in what others are doing. I'm more concerned with trying to figure things out, like what type I am. I am usually quite oblivious to my surroundings, even in a crowd, because I'm basically not there. Thinking. i can be VERY talkative around the right people, then II either hope to gain a new angle from the other person, or I just talk, nott really caring if they answer, so long as I get to unload my thoughts and judgments into someone else's head. Emphasis on the fact that it has to be the right person. Also in large groups there is too much information going around. Can't talk and process at the same time. if all I'm hearing is crap (small talk), I might go into attack mode and start picking on all the females present, just to amuse myself, no harm meant. Why don't I always behave in an extraverted manner? Too exhausting. i believe in order to get what you want, sometimes you just have to be cold and hard, even to yourself. Normally I don't give crap about much in particular, but once I have an actual target I can push towards it a little, but will make no real commitment to anything unless I'm sure it could work. any more, and i'll drain myself very quickly. Gamma quadra values? Dunno. Maybe. Kinda. Definitely not Beta or Delta. Maybe Alpha, maybe Gamma. I think money is a fun game to play, but my objective is more along the lines of how to keep on having money than on getting more of it. though you know those villains in books that take excessive pride in wearing rich stuff Depending on HOW the character relates to their wealth, just reading about them is liable to **** me off. -- MD |
| A28 i was wondering what all this posting is about, wheather u guys re-vived interest in those prior arguement points, now that i view it in brief, it is excessively banal. Here are a bunch of people trying to convince somebody that they [the person] is/are another type. Why i ask. i am certainly not going to read all of this to find some structural bias i can comment on to the shame of the BIG personalities who have posted here{maybe later..hehe} (excluding MD from that, as he is the attacked, but definitely including Ezis in that grouping)..why convince...unless, the very act of convincing a person that they are another type would destroy the STRUCTURAL basis of arguements against them. Obviously i can't say that, these guys would pass it of as 'fealty' toward MD, perhaps in their minds helping him to live a 'happier life'. What can i say, in my present mind, that is plainly banal of Ezis, winning by averting personel, rather than winning by focusing on structure. Well still, i can hide my head from re-crimination from those who feel themselves Anonymously able to post here...as i 'only read this in part' and well, as an INTP, that i thought their action was banal, is my right to think, plus it says something about INTPs to. A29 @A27: That answer sounds like ENTp, but could also be INTp or INTj. But overall, I think that you are ENTp, you just behave in socially introverted manner, wich is not uncommon for ENTp's, especially for the reasons you stated. That is being interested in something else than other people, or because of other people in general. A honest INTp answer would be in the line of: I don't really care, AND making initiave(s) is too difficult. So you might assume that you are introverted, because of your social behaviour, perhaps you are subtype. "I might go into attack mode and start picking on all the females present, just to amuse myself, no harm meant." This also sounds more like ENTp, doesn't really sound like INTj. INTp men are usually are (or try to be) always nice to women, because of the  HA, assuming they are women to whom the HA could apply. "I think money is a fun game to play, but my objective is more along the lines of how to keep on having money than on getting more of it." That sounds like how my INTj friend relates to wealth. | A30 A29 to me it looks like md has 'opened' himself up to discussion, and what has happened-as can happen on this site is that people start picking holes in you, as I have experienced. MD never said he treated girls bad not once. Basically you cannot get a girlfriend or some like you express your jealousy by trying to demonise his currently held views. Ok so put you on the table lets criticise you instead of you hiding behind the critisism. Maybe correct thing to do is ask him how as an intp he has to an extent mastered his HA and therefore learn something which perhaps should be the point of these posts. And maybe that would be stupid question to ask, since he's more likely to be ENTp, whose HA would manifest in the sense it's has manifested here, instead of a case of INTp "overcoming" his HA. At what part I have "demonized his views"? Picking on people is never nice, even if done as jest. It's not particulary mean either. Because of our  PoLR we accidentaly hurt people, so INTp's try to be "extra nice" around women in order not to hurt their feelings by accident. People get hurt so easily over nothing, like for example how you obviously have. If you are going critize, critize about real issues, not just because you are holding a silly grudge. And btw. I'm not all that sign as "INTp", so don't hold your grudge against all INTp's  -- INTp |
