Can a beneficiary relationship between an infp and an intj work as a long term relationship? -- Anonymous |
Your Answers: 1+ |
A1 No, the INFp will be too critical of INTj, and the INTj too distant and unanimated for INFp. INTj will want to limit frivolousness so INFp will likely get irritated and bored. Their objectives and their ways of achieving objectives will eventually come between them. There will be a greater chance of them staying together when the INTj is wealthy and indulges INFp whims. -- Anonymous |

A2 I am an INFp and I have been with my boyfriend(INTj) for nearly 3 years. Yes sometimes I find him too rigid and wish he would be more spontaneous and show more emotion but I also marvel at his ability to deal with his emotions and stress so well. He makes me laugh and when I am being anxious or stressed he will tell me that it will be okay. Sometimes I get frustrated at this response because I feel like he doesn't actually get what I am saying. He helps me see that there are some things we can't control in the world so there is no point getting upset or mad. And I try and help him imagine being in someone else's shoes when he criticizes someone. -- Anonymous |
