Please could someone give me guidance on how to visually identify younger ISTJs. I can only seem to identify them from sight when they are older and moustacheod. -- ESTJ Female |

A1 Many, especially the females, are often mistyped as other types because they have good social skills and are actually fairly easy going. This isn't the image of an ISTJ most people have in their minds. -- Anonymous |
A2 I would suggest looking for a girl who looks rather mature at first and maybe even a bit serious, at first they may not talk but if eventually they like you they may talk even more. She has some sort of sense of order and most things have to be fair even if the girl is not being fair to herself. Usually trying to keep arguments minimal and most likely ignore them. I would suggest to not be fooled by appearance and try to talk to them because deep down we really want to make friends. -- A young istj. |
A3 Stiff body movements are another sign, especially a super straight back. Also, unless irritated they seem to have only two facial expressions: A polite friendly smile or no facial expression at all. -- Anonymous |
A4 If you can imagine an elf with an aura made of straw, you just may have identified an ISTJ. Prince Harry is probably a good example. I'm not 100% sure on this, but that is my current understanding among my intertype relations and typings. -- Anonymous |
