So... I have begun to wonder if various quadras have different types of physical affection that they prefer. I saw some reference on another socionics forum about how the Beta quadra likes somewhat forceful touches, the Alpha quadra likes really gentle "feeble" touches as some called it. They didn't say anything about the other two quadras. Anyway, I thought this would be an interesting thing to look into. If you have any information on this, please share... Or, if you like, simply post your quadra and say what kind of physical affection you tend to enjoy/give to others... please keep it to romantic affection. Like you're not going to hug your mom in the same way that you will hug your significant other. Anyway, I thought this would be another fascinating aspect of socionics to study. I would post my quadra and what I like, except I'm not quite sure of my quadra just yet. Thanks! -- NF something or other |

A1 That sounds about right, intuitively. I suspect it has to do with Romance Styles, as described here: http://wikisocion.org/en/index.php?title=Romance_styles The Caregiver/Infantile pair would prefer a gentler touch, while the Aggressor/Victim pair would prefer a more forceful touch. In that case, Gamma would prefer a more forceful touch, while Delta would prefer a gentler touch. -- Krig (INTj) |
