Question #1223375513 | Tuesday, 7-Oct-2008 |
|
|
In Socionics, Duality is generally thought to be the "ideal" relationship. However, in MBTI, relations of Supervision like INTJ-ENFp are often promoted as the best. The problem is that, in Socionics, Supervision tends to be thought of as one of the least compatible relationships. So what gives? Why the contradiction? And more importantly, which system is right, and why? -- Krig (INTj) |

A1 I think supervisory relationships are good at achieving material goods, but the love and understanding isn't there. -- Anonymous |

A2 Socionics is right, of course. -- Anonymous |
A3 The reason for this is probably that people usually are not the same type in Socionics and in MBTI, so it is not possible to compare the relationships system in the two theories - they are simply about different people. -- Anonymous |
A4 The typing system for Socionics is different from MBTI. MBTI tends to type people based on misconceptions of the functions, such as social=extrovert, strong logic is always NT, etc. -- An INFj |
