| A8 ISFp = SiFe (Socionics functions) = ISFP = FiSe (MBTI functions) Socionics functions and MBTI functions HAVE DIFFERENT MEANINGS. So You could still be a ISFj in Socionics or even ISTj or INFj or anything else although You are more likely ISFp / ISFP. Both systems are different and can't be compared. Personally I'm very likely ISFJ with some ISTP tendencies in MBTI (guardian) and ISTp with some ISFj tendencies in Socionics (delta quadra). | A10 After having compared descriptions of types I found that for "S" types it's MORE OR LESS so: ESTj is between ESTJ and ESTP, ESTp is between ESTP and ISTP, ISTp is between ISTP and ISTJ, ISTj is between ISTJ and ESTJ. About "N" types I didn't find such a pattern and simply changing the "P" for a "J" and vice versa doesn't always work. Not only definitions of extravert vs introvert are different in both systems but also sensing vs intuiting. -- piccolo_michel |
| A11 I think when one decides to study socionics, it is probably best to to leave all of the mbti notions at the door and start from from the bottom to learn socionics without any mixed theories. the best way to truly determine you socionics type is to do a lot of reading of socionics material and make an honest observation of yourself and get opinions from people who know you as well as you know yourself, i found wikisocion to be very helpful. -- LII |
