Question #1170290884 | Thursday, 1-Feb-2007 |

|
Yea so... I'm an INTj and I tend to **** people off a lot. Its usually not intentional though. Its hard to explain but its kinda like im oversarcastic without putting the effort forward to be sarcastic. Its like I can't help myself. I can be rude and make controversial statements that hurts people feelings. Any other INTjs like this? -- Hitta |

A20 I'm only sarcastic when people say something so unbelievably (triple underline "unbelievably") stupid/offensive it feels like they're just pulling my chain; but are completely serious and just plain ignorant. When I DO use sarcasm which isn't THAT often, it's with the sole purpose of making them "feel" as stupid as they sound. (Or to be dismissive.) But it usually doesn't come across in my delivery (especially so for those dull in the brain) because my tone and facial expressions are unchanging... most of the time. Sometimes I use sarcasm in a playful teasing manner, but that's only when I like the person I'm speaking to (usually women I'm attracted to). My playful sarcasm is usually successful and perceived as such. Anyway... to address other comments. What is this INTJ writing style people speak of? I'm doubtful of the accuracy of identifying someone by their style of writing. -- MBTI and Socionics INTJ |

A21 Intentional sarcasm showing that comments have been taken personally is more of an Ip and Ej weapon. Criticisms that are executed in a surgically objective but lethal fashion are more typical of Ij and Ep; although most of these would cause bruising of egos, this would largely be an unintentional side-effect. Both have equal negative impact. -- Anonymous |
