Hi, I am an INTJ and as it's obvious I am a pattern-finding machine. My qustions is this. Could Arthur's legend of the twelve knights and the Roundatable have anything to do whatsoever with the 12 MBTI/Socionics types? I mean like think about it... Arthur was ENTJ(or INTJ), his right hand man, Lancelot/Galahad, was probably ENFP, etc.... I dunno, but its kinda spooky. -- Abdul |

A1 I don't know this actual story, but it is not uncommon for writers of mythological stories, legends and sagas to present characters that function as archetypes. -- pm (ENFp) |
A2 When reading fiction the whole point is for you, the reader, to paint the portraits of the characters yourself in your own mind. Thus in many cases typing fictional characters are exempli gratia of the Forer effect in action. Fictional characters are not presented as archtypes, they are archtypes! -- Anonymous |
A3 Wouldn't the author(s) of the Arthurian legends have thought of types as one of four (via what the Greeks handed down)? Maybe they further subdivided types but I'm not sure how that would be divided into 12. -- econdude |

A4 you said there are 12 mbti/socionicsthere are 12 knights, and 16 mbti/socionics types. if you want someone to answer your question you'll have to specify whether you saw a connection between 12 knights and sixteen mbti/socionics types or whether you erroneously thought there were 12 mbti/socionics types -- Anonymous |
