I enjoy my life enormously and am looking for ways to make it even more fun and rewarding both for myself and those around me. I have a positive outlook. If life hands you lemons, break out the tequila! As an ethical man, cultivating authenticity, I do my best to fill my interactions with others with compassion and honesty in equal measure. I often find myself calculating, inquiring, and conceptualizing my internal and external experience - seeking to devise the best working model of how this physical, social, spiritual realm hangs together and how I might subsequently move through it with a little more style. Yet I sometimes struggle with bringing this endeavor into my felt experience, not just my conceptual understanding. Much of my life has been about seeing things as they really are (I'm a freethinker). Nowadays love, closeness, sharing and understanding play a more important role.
I'm on the cusp of Myers Briggs type preferences INFJ and INTJ, although more the former in the last couple of years. I've had long-term partners for most of my adult life and finding myself single again actually feels pretty good. I'd prefer no relationship to a poor one. Are you sweeter than my solitude? Yes, I cherish solitude but I love to be around people as well; I'm just not an Energizer bunny. When I'm recharged, I enjoy long and effortless conversations that make my neurons crackle and send my imagination racing, despite my natural inclination to tire.
When I'm not out hiking, dancing or engaging in local events, I'm active in community-building interests (I recently helped set up a Time Bank). I've seen a good deal of the world, much of Europe, New Zealand, and I now have a whole continent to explore as a Resident Alien (I'm here from the constellation Pisces, you know). I'm now happily settled in a corner of paradise, Paonia, Colorado, a little-known jewel (and they'd kinda like to keep it that way). Lots of wineries, the highest number of organic farms in Colorado, many cultural activities, and a small but significant progressive enclave.
With my dry, English sense of humor, I love clever plays on words. I'm terrible at remembering jokes, let alone delivering them. I prefer instead witty (to me anyway) one-liners. I love cooking, gardening, camping, woodworking, chess and board games, Cabernet Sauvignon, nature, philosophy, macro-economics, and...

I am sapiosexual. I relish kissing, cuddling, intimacy, and sex when its informed by deep emotional connection. The deepest kind of knowing of heady passion mixed with undeniable resonance. I sometimes wish I could do casual sex; am I missing out on a whole new world of experience?
About you
I embrace 'drama-free' partners in my life. You recognize your wholeness. You don't want to be rescued, nor do you want me to be your whipping post as you work out your anger issues (yep, done that already). I value my ability to be supportive when life is challenging but a large degree of emotional health is a must. I'm most attracted to women who are self-aware, intelligent, emotionally constant, kind and compassionate—the ones who feel me, who sense my gifts and value.
