Can you give some examples of philosophical questions or problems that you are or have been interested in?

Not very dominant , though it is not impossible to find some of them who are like that, I don't know for sure. But to my knowledge most dominant people have an opinion about everything and say it even if you don't ask them, they frequently express what they think.

is71: can you give me an example about a time when you have experienced the feeling function.

What are the criticisms you are sensitive to?

Well, perhaps the nature of humanity, the nature of life, and the nature of God. How are those for philosophical questions?

Seriously, it's hard for me to talk about myself in too general of a way.

From what I understand and are very different functions which represent very different processes. So I really don't understand what you mean by "the feeling function."

I guess I'm sensitive to criticisms about my personal qualities. People who say that I'm stupid or a loser or something similar without real cause might get under my skin, but I usually don't let those kinds of comments really affect me all that much.

I am trying to pinpoint at least a few philosophical views that you have. Do you believe in the existence of God? Is life in general (as a whole) a good thing or a bad thing (the answer to that question is linked to whether you are a pessimist or an optimist).

The short answer is no.

Life is neither a good thing nor a bad thing. It merely is what it is. I don't see where normative terms can be applied holistically to life.

To change the topic slightly, does anyone have any type suggestions yet?

The information you have presented so far suggests that you are an INTp.

So, although if you look at types he considered in the first post and can clearly see that he has problem identifying S/N preference but is 100% sure about T/F, after all that you notice his Pness, right?

Not directly. The fact that he is more certain about his T than about his N is not a conclusive argument for rationality, because I would probably be as certain myself about my T, and that applies to many INTps. His test results and the way he describes his attitudes and behaviours strongly suggest some introverted thinking intuitive type. And with only two such types to consider his overall profile, his values, his philosophical attitudes, etc. suggest that INTp is more likely than INTj. He also writes more like an INTp than an INTj. I am not yet 100 % certain but INTp seems like the strongest bet at the moment. Do you disagree with that, SG?

That'll be INTj and ENTp , not INTp

Doesn't this mean they're NF?

Also, I'm not convinced you're INTp!

I didn't mean it so literally ... Only that he seems to be an introverted type with thinking and intuition in his ego block. How shall I phrase it if I want to say that, without being committed to an opinion on which function is leading?

You may or you may not be ... but isn't that rather irrelevant here? You can still try to type him based on the information we have access to so far, can't you?

Say what? If you bring yourself as an example to support your typing, how could this be irrelevant?

Where did I do that in the typing of itinerant? If I accidentally did it somewhere you may disregard it.

Okay, you are not convinced that I am an INTp. But what would you think is more likely -- that I am either an INTj or an INTp, or that I am one of two other possible types (insert them here: ..........or..........)?

I told you already, I need to see your pic to confirm or reject my hypothesis. Until then I won't speculate, it could be dangerous with you.

I am still out of ammo ... but on the other hand you can't be sure of that either ...
