Yeah you said earlier on this thread that you only know some classic rock or something and have never had a cool taste in music. But here you now like Rammstein and you knew loads of different bands on your socionic theme song thread. So why are you having us on or something?

Rammstein aren't that cool, and it'd be weird if I hadn't heard of them. I don't exactly own any of their records. What I meant was that I wasn't a scenester. Having a 'cool' taste in music would be lots of obscure indie stuff. I have quite an eclectic taste in music, it's true, but I generally prefer classic rock. Why does it matter?

We have different definitions of whats cool then. Music or something isn't cool because it's obscure and indie. Something is cool just because it is! It doesn't matter as such. But it does matter that your saying your music taste isn't cool. It's like your putting yourself down (before someone else does or because someone else does?). Why wouldn't you like your own taste? It's your taste so you like it and you shouldn't put your own taste down. Unless it's self depreciating humour which can be funny but not serious.

I have got a self deprecating sense of humour. Guess it's my age really, I use 'cool' sarcastically, because I really don't follow fashion, and that stuff's important to some people.
I say something is cool because I like it. I call fashion uncool unless i'm being sarcastic where I call it cool.
Me too. That's kind of what I meant by 'cool' The age-related thing was the fashion. I'm just out of uni, and my music taste has always been a bit eccentric for my age.
