Let's just for a second assume that this is indeed the suitable way of measuring neurotransmitter levels (which is probably not). What about the fact that neurotransmitter levels are never constant and can even change several times during the day? How is that going to help with subtypes?

I felt calm, contained this morning, but now I feel happy, enthusiastic, optimistic! I must have changed my subtype towards the evening, right?

this hypothetic neurochemical subtype system is more related to the main state.

for example, I'm very passive and nervous most of the time, and rarely have moods.

You're talking about connecting moods with types. Fair enough, but what would you achieve by doing that? Describe subtypes? Wait, there is no point even starting with subtypes without clear definition what is subtype.

Can I change subtype with 5-HTP?
