Which functions make you depressed? -- Anonymous |
Your Answers: 1+ |
A1 A Socionics function is a cognitive process. It may describe how one will react when in a depression but no function is a determining factor for depression. -- Anonymous |
|
A2 Yep, A1. Depends on the individual type - like if the people around you force you to use one of your weaker functions, you might get depressed, but that's the interaction between the environment and your type, it's not the individual function's "fault". I get depressed when having to deal with Ti too much and when someone points out my inability to use Te constantly and effectively, but that's just my type. -- ESFp |
A3 A2, the impressions of being "forced", having "to deal with" and "my inability" are more likely indications of personal insecurities and or disappointments because you do not find yourself in an arena where you are able demonstrate your real abilities either because of fate or poor choices. The source of your inner turmoil may be resentment and, like most depression, is self induced because one is unable to cope. Put you in a different scenario and it will be the T-types getting depressed. -- Anonymous |
