Category: Advice ESFp Dating ISFj Love

How well would a relationship between a female ESFP and a male ISFJ work? Cause I love the guy but I want to know how well our personalities mesh...I'm hoping this will answer if we would be good together or not. -- Anonymous

A1 Assuming you are both ESFp and ISFj according to socionics (MBTI types don't necessarily transfer over to socionics) then you two should work out just fine. Take a look at the "Intertype relations" section here http://www.socionics.com/rel/rel.htm You will find that you two are mirroring types. Mirrors tend to get along fairly well. I know a couple who are mirrors (ESFj and ISFp) and they still get along delightfully; they've been married for 11 years.

A3 I think you two could work out quite well. I have seen a few ESFP/ISFJ couples... particularly friendships. You will probably hit a few bumps along the way (but doesn't every couple?), but if you stick with it, I think you could have a very rewarding relationship. Perhaps even more rewarding than a couple who wouldn't have had their little disagreements. -- Anonymous
