Hi people. I have a question about the names given to personality types and why they have that name. For example, there are romantic people out there who are not "The Romantic" INFp personality type. So, I wonder why the INFp gets that title. I'd like to understand this a bit more. thx! -- curious INFp |

A1 just because someone is "such and such" which is also the name given doesn't mean they are that personality type. my assumption is their ego block being makes them kind of idealize their relationships etc. -- Anonymous |
A2 Just to give you something to think about -- INFp guy |
A3 The Romantic doesn't just mean love, romance is a great wonder or fantastic, it sort of about how we perceive reality, as well as how we go about doing things. -- Anonymous |

A4 ESFps being Politicians while there's much lower percantage of them in politics than it is among singers and actors... someone chose these names to mark one quality of the type that s/he considered important. Don't mind the names, only the functions matter. -- Ezis (ESFp) |
