Category: Celebrities Typing
Coupling is a British television sitcom written by Steven Moffat that aired on BBC2 from May 2000 to June 2004. The show centres on the dating and sexual adventures and mishaps of six friends in their thirties, often depicting the three women and the three men each talking among themselves about the same events, but in entirely different terms. In the following short clip Steve (Jack Davenport) attempts to dump Jane (Gina Bellman). What are their types? Coupling - Dumping Jane

A1 I liked that show! Jane I would type as an ESTp. She seemed self-confident, self-aware and narcissistic. She also pretended to be Bisexual just to appear more sexy. I'd type Steve as an ISFj. -- Anonymous
A2 Dear Anonymous. I will help. STEVE: Steve is far far away from being an ISFJ type. (ISFJs tend to be devoted to their partners.) Steve is very direct, precise and logical. During the series he has several rants (see cushion rant scene). He is an extroverted, judging and thinking person. He seems to be aggressive but he is not brutal. Do you see when he tries to be considerate while trying to dump Jane? Steve - Jack Davenport - is a poster-child for an ENTJ male. Try to watch other videos from him and you will see. JANE. I would not say Jane is self-confident or narcissistic. She is rather uninhibited. She is a feeler. Can you continue from here? -- jgbr
A3 ENFp would be my guess for Jane. I don't think she is a I or a J. -- Anonymous
A4 A3. I agree she is not a J. How would an ENFP women react if you dumped her like this? I would expect a much harsher reaction. Does not Jane remind you of Phoebe from the TV show Friends? -- jgbr
A5 She does seem like phoebe who I always thought was an INFp. -- Anonymous
