Question #1262968571 | Friday, 8-Jan-2010 |
|
|
I am an ENTJ type person reporting to 2 bosses which are ESFJ and ESFP. I find it very hard to get along with them and always end up not being favored by them (for promotions/bonuses). I am a very hardworking person, always have new ideas and complete all my tasks in time. I would appreciate any advice on how to deal with these type of bosses, Especially if you yourself are an ESFJ or ESFP! -- Anonymous |

A1 An ESFp not favouring an ENTj? Weird... So far, I have only encountered the opinion among ESFps that ENTjs are good bosses and intelligent people. The only reason I can think of is that the ESFp either 1) doesn't like the direction you intend to lead the team in; 2) likes you as a person and is afraid their decision might be influenced by it. When we want to be impersonal we can become pretty illogical. How does the ESFp behave to you? - What seems probable to me is that you got your or the ESFp boss's type wrong. -- Ezis (ESFp) |
A2 Both of these types are Feelers and you are a Thinker. You have to develop a rapport and a relationship with them, for example, ask about their family, how they are doing/feeling etc. Also for ESFJs extroverted feeling is very important, so develop that function. -- Grace |
A3 in my case, I would've put you in a higher position than you are in now if you are doing what you are supposed to do and is responsible for. Now, maybe you can talk to them and have yourself known and be out there than not. That way, maybe they would notice what you are doing -- an ESFJ |
