Question #1261923803 | Sunday, 27-Dec-2009 |
I have taken the test and 1st scored INTj then INTp. I have looked at the VI tests and did not see similarities with INTj and INTp. I saw more of a similarity with ISTp and also 3 other people said the same. I seem to look at people’s faces and know everything about them. 1st I take a look at them then write down their 4 letters. I go up to them and ask them if they can take a test. They take the test and they get what I write down. Why do I seem to figure out every ones else’s but my own?? I ask lots of questions like an ISTp I will answer a question with another question. I love analyzing everything it seems to tire people. I’m always very doubtful always thinking nothing is certain. What do you see? Help me figure this out people. ISTp? From what I wrote I see ISTp but I have always scored as an Intuitive. -- Musicphilos |

A1 It's very usual that people are scored as intuitive although they have a sensing type. I believe it's because of what schools are teaching and what is expected from students. So even strong sensing people are extremely familiar with abstract matters and don't recognize that these matters aren't their preferences. It's why tests aren't the best methods in order to get one's type. They only show some tendencies which have to be verified through other studies about the personality but if you want your Socionics type don't study MBTI descriptions, and vice versa. Both systems are too different even for extraverted types. -- Piccolo_Michel |
