A1 Why are you asking? Is it just general or are you yourself an NT and need to know how SF women see you? - When I was studying MBTI and I came across the Rationals description it was clear to me that this is my ideal. But then I discovered Socionics and realized that reality is different, not all NTs fit the MBTI Rationals description and the INTs I dreamt of in reality have many more sides to them than typologies say. And also that I know many NTs and they are the people I work with, am friends or relatives with etc. So Socionics NTs came to be simply "normal people" to me. I am so used to them now that I don‘t think much about their NTness. Maybe that‘s why I am a Dual to one NT type: because if an F started thinking about NTs too much, s/he would go crazy When I have problems with INTjs and ENTps it‘s because they‘re Alpha quadra, not because they‘re NTs. Actually even with them I get along better than with some ESjs and NFs. SFs and NTs are "my world" which I appreciate when I have to deal with STs and NFs for a longer time: in their presence, I always start to think they‘re too simple and straightforward or too sensitive and confusing respectively (sorry STs and NFs, I know this is subjective), and I am too sensitive and too physical and too nerdy; so when an NT turns up I feel genuinely relieved. My relationships with INTps are a different chapter, but that‘s because we‘re Duals, not because they‘re NTs. Only when they’re not answering my letters I have to tell myself „they’re INTs, they’re INTs“ but this is like once in three years. And sometimes I feel it’s a pity I can’t share my undescribable, almost tangible joy of music and dancing with my INTp girl friends. Sometimes it’s possible, but most of the time they’re sensing it with their Ni (naturally). But in the moments when their Se turns on, I get the most enriching feedback. Also when I fell in love with a guy who behaved somehow way tooooo INT-ish and everyone was telling me he was crazy, as it later occurred to me he might have suffered from the Asperger syndrome. It‘s difficult to tell from exaggerated INT behaviour unless you know the person well. This guy was and still is a pleasant memory and at the same time a huge unsolved problem for me. He was my ideal but currently I am scared because I suspect my ideal could equal to „someone with Asperger syndrome“. But INTps are also the pastors and writers whom I respect and who are healthy like C.S.Lewis on whom half of my life is based, or Marcelijus Martinaitis; and other INTps are the disciplined and practical people I need and at the same time have the insight I crave, and they take a whole life to discover (and describe, so I’ll better end here:-)) -- Ezis (ESFp)
