What type is most likely to have OCD -- scarletdragon |
Your Answers: 1+ |
A1 If I had to guess, I'd say ISFj. But then again, its most likely NOT directly type related. -- Anonymous |

A2 I'd have to disagree. I'm not exactly sure it has anything to do with type, but I've never met and ISFj with OCD. -- Anonymous |
A3 Yes ISFj are very compulsive to the point that it is counter productive at times, i know an INTp who is very compulsive too, but in more obscure ways. -- Anonymous |
A4 If you want to know, find some information on psychiatric hospitals in your vicinity, visit one, ask everyone there with (SEVERE) OCD to take the personality quiz (better clear your schedule) and then chart your observations. -- Anonymous |
A5 IME&O, OCD is a hyperfocused, overcompensatory "undoing" performed by an individual trying to bring order to a certain area of life which they must share with another person/institution/etc., yet are incredibly uncomfortable with, due to the "other's" highly unsatisfactory standards when compared with one's own. The two do not meet anywhere NEAR an acceptable half-way point with respect to the OCD individual's personal needs. I also believe OCD behavior can come and go, depending on ones life conditions. Probably not type-related, so much ~ however, the forms it takes might be more suggestive of an individual type (ie, psychoanalytically/symbolically reflecting individual sensitivities and unmet needs). -- ISFp |
