A1 I think this depends on your specific type. Is S one of your Ego or Id function, or is it one of your unpreferred functions? -- Ezis (ESFp) |
A2 ENTp here, I can do most functions at will, and will is the keyword here. Doing things outdside my usual envelope is a matter of understanding the mechanisms behind them, adjust mentally to them and then apply the corresponding measures on the specific condition, situation or process. And it might work fairly to pretty well for even quite a while. But it takes a toll on my patience, graded along the degree of unfamiliarity of the function, and there's a break point somewhere along that line where I balance the energy applied vs. the gains achieved. Dicipline in action against conviction of benefit. Dicipline is universal among the types, I reckon all of them know the concept. So theorethically, we can upon agreement and understanding smooth out all the types in the world to one common super type for a brief moment, but it hardly wont last very long. And with that I have somwhat claimed that developing sustained functions at will outside your naturals is a pretty substantial challenge. -- ENTp |
A3 I'm a ESTp -- wants a stronger type |
