Question #1231685899Sunday, 11-Jan-2009
Category: ESFj Typing
I understand Socionics theory very well. But I am very bad at applying it to real people. I want to find out ESFjs around me. But it isn't an easy thing to do. Given that there are many variances in every type, typing people becomes mission impossible in my opnion. Can someone please tell me how to spot ESFjs? I have watched some celebrity interviews online. The only thing I notice is they are very animated and lively. But then, how can I narrow it down to ESFjs only? What makes ESFjs stand out among very talkative and social people. Second, I have had a look at celebrity pictures on this site. But I really cannot read well differences. Most of them, if done by me, will go to just one category. So, pictures may not be helpful in my case. I hope to hear from someone soon. -- J

A1 IMO ESFjs are one of the easiest types to spot. They're usually very loud, talkative, but also tend to view the world in very black and white, many of them tend to be religious. And keep in mind that though there is variance within each type, type is based on how people think, so look not just at what people do but why they appear to be doing it. -- Anonymous
A2 I have a bunch of ESE friends/acquaintances. The clincher is if they make it their mission to get their friends together into big get togethers, during which they feel ecstatic if everyone is having a good time, and very sad and disappointed if not. One of my friends actually came right out and said this to me, which confirmed my observations of her and my tentative typing. They also show a lot of Fe, signs of caregiving, are photogenic and not clumsy, and are adept with fashion (even if they say they're not any of these things). -- sjy
