Question #1214003403 | Friday, 20-Jun-2008 |
|
|
What is the most common personality type? What is the least common? Where do ENTP and ESTP stand in there? I am an ENTP per Socionics and an ESTP per Myers-Briggs. I find friends quickly, but close friends who I feel connected to are few are far between. Why is this? Are there not very many of my complimentative types out there? -- MM |

A1 something close to this (from most common to least): ESxj, ESxp, ISxj, ISxp, ENxp, INFj, INTp, ENTj, INFp, INTj. -- Anonymous |
A2 I read somewhere that in England ISTj is the most common, and INTj is rarest, and in America, ISFj is most common, and INFj is rarest, but I don't know if that's true... -- INFp |
A3 I read in western 2/3 of ppl are extravert. INFx and INTj are rarest. Finding close friends is difficult for me as well, and I am INFp according to socionics, the opposite of your type. Another example: I heard from a ESFj-friend that she - although she has plenty of friends and plenty of very private conversations - has the feeling that there is no one out there who really understands her and whom she really can trust, as if something very profound is amiss. Maybe this is just a common problem in todays society and not depending on personality types? -- Anonymous |
A4 The majority of people tend to be Extroverted Sensors with ESFJ being the most common type, at least according to the studies I've read -- Anonymous |
