Do esfps and isfps usually get along? -- Maggie |
Your Answers: 1+ |
A1 yes, if they are attracted to each other. they can have a lot in common. and lots of times they're both friends with enfps. so they often meet each other through enfps that they both know, and they're able to make friends. but every friendship and every relationship has its problems to overcome, and contrary relations describe what kind of problems those two types will probably have, if they have any. any two types can be friends, any two types can hook up, and any two types can date, although an entp is probably going to date an isfp a lot longer than an isfj or an entj. -- Anonymous |
A2 only if they're left alone -- kensi |
A3 Yeah. Every best friend I've ever had has been an ESFp. -- ISFp |
A4 They get along well because they "play" well together. They both live in the moment and are carefree. An ISFP might get annoyed at the excessive chatter and bouncing from person to person. The ESFP might get frustrated with an ISFP's closed-off demeanor and lack of effort. They make great pals but probably would not find themselves in a relationship. -- Anonymous |
A5 I've probably gotten closer to more ESFps in my life than any other type. But it's always ended very badly. And like kensi said, it helps a LOT if they get to know each other one-on-one first. -- Lena, ISFp |
A6 Sorry that this is off topic but A4 is wrong about ISFps being carefree. They often SEEM carefree but actually take life very seriously...sometimes too seriously. Myers-Briggs talks about this and most ISFPs in the Myers-Briggs system are also ISFps in socionics. -- Anonymous |
A7 That's a Contrary relation, you can read about it here http://www.socionics.com/rel/cnt.htm One of the biggest problems with Contrary relationships is that both are from opposing quadras, and therefore, have opposing values -- An INFj |
A8 Well, my best friend is ESFp, but it is hard friendship. She have to deal with my Fe (and I'm Fe subtype ), and I sometimes just can't stand her SeFi, ugh. ^^' -- ISFp |
A9 No, due to contrary relations (as already stated, and discussed on this website.) Anyone who claims they do, on a friendship basis, has mistyped at least one of the two. -- Anonymous |
A10 A9: Because, as we all know, it's impossible to supercede arbitrary typological divisions. *stares blankly* -- INFp guy |
A11 A9, well, relations are POTENTIAL negative or positive. It's obvious. -- ISFp |

A12 I'm an ISFP and my brother is an ESFP and we get fine most of the time. sometimes he can be really annoying but we hang out alot more than alot of siblings who are five years apart. I think he understands me more than anyone else in the family. -- Anonymous |
