Is curiosity related to type? I'm a very curious human being, more so then most and someone told me that meant I was an ESFj which seemed like complete nonsense to me but maybe I am mistaken and curiosity really is type related. -- nachos |

A1 Good question. I think the easy answer is to say it's not, but however let Bob put forward some ideas: Now I'd say that socionic types with 'strong' Ne will be curious-Ne seeks new things and likes to be involved in new projects and gets bored easy and wants to see what else is out there. So lets make that dominant Ne types that are curious..you know ENTp and ENFp. Now think about another curiousity..the curiousity to learn. Look at the hidden agendas of types like ESFp and INFp .. Things like 'to know' 'to understand' which can make them curious to learn as much as they can about certain subjects for instance. ISTp's are curious about the natural world and cultures I think. I don't see what ISTj's are curious about off the top of my head. Well there's some answers for you. Oh, are you ESFj's and are/what you curious about? -- Bob |

A2 No I'm not an ESFj. I'm an ISFp and I'm curious about people mostly...how they work...what's it's like to be other people. Sometimes I get curious about complex gadgets too...like televions, robots, cell phones, stuff like that...but those things can never hold my interest as long as psychology can. -- nachos |
A3 A2 I am the same way! -- infp |
