Category: Stereotype
Which type has the thickest skin and which type has the thinnest skin. -- pot head
Your Answers: 1+
A1 i could be wrong but i think i read it somewhere that caucasians in general have thinner skins. the thickness of the skin of a person is in the genes. i don't think the type of a person has much to do with the person's genes. even if it has to do with one's genes, the correlation will be very small and is probably due to factors that aren't being considered. anyway, waht i want to say is, thickness of skin is not type related imho. -- sara
A2 Thick headedness can be genetic related, thick skin is definately genetic related. In terms of thick skin in regards to being affected by other people words or actions, I believe sometimes it is the F type and sometimes it is the T type. They will be affected for different reasons. -- Anonymous
A3 A1, I meant skin thickness in relation to being affected by other people's words. -- pot head
A4 A1's a pot head -- Anonymous
A5 @A4: or she is just a witty ISTj but not a pothead, I believe. -- Anonymous

A9 I think us ISFps have the thinnest UNDERCOVER skin. Most people never realise how sensitive I really am and I'm prettty glad they don't. Oh and INFj makes sense for thin skin and ESTp makes sense for thick skin in my opinion. I'm also tempted to say that thinkers in general have thicker skin than feelers. -- ISFp
A10 I agree- I'm INFP, I do have a thin skin . It's an INFPs attempt to be 'authentic'.. if we feel something, we're not going to hide it or deny it. A7- you think INFPs have thick skin? why? A*- I agree, especially ESTs, but even ESFs have thick skins too. NFs are too sensitive.. but so lovable -- INFPPPPP
A11 I am INFp and was just thinking earlier today how I might benefit from being less emotional, maybe thinking less about things. One problem I have is that I imagine sometimes that people have ill intent when they do not. Overall, I may put too much emotion into everything, even my perception of other people's actions when in reality most people are not so emotional and think very little about things, i.e. how someone else might perceive their actions or what their actions might mean. -- learning
