Question #1206424516Tuesday, 25-Mar-2008
Category: ISTj ENFp Dating
I am an ENFP male and i really like a good friend of mine who is an ISTJ female. I know at points in the past two years that she was too interested in me. The problem is that as our relationship builds right before we are officially "together" she slowly drops contact with me. This has happened twice now and currently she isnt talking too much. What is the deal!? If she likes me as much as i like her why would she do this? -- Steve

A1 it was said that the greatest fault of the great general Napoleon was the inability to stop. with a internalizer freind like this..it may be that she Modeled the relationship in her mind..and that the hardships which were present to this stage sealed her motivation into a null stage. what would get her to work again?...well i don't know...should u accept it...probably yes, she had to accept your nnnull stage earlier. (it's with the decrepency of worlds we live in).(note i did not try and explain this, or deride u in socionic terms were u a P and she a J....this stage problem between duals is very common....it's often unrecognized that the I in the pair experiences this stage burn-out...accept it i would say..for there was no-one asktance to your previous null stage)...the Napoleon phrase is there as a model start phrase on a solution which might go deeper...my license, it is my post (not directed at u or a piece of advise in that Nap comment). -- @sirac
A2 Steve, are these socionic types or MBTI??? If socionic, then you two would be conflictors. If MBTI then you can't really say much about your interpersonal relationship compatibility from the types. -- sjy

A3 Danger Will Robertson! Danger! Socionics, mbti, keirsey all mention that these types conflict (not compliment). Are you sure she's ISTJ? -- An ENFP
