A2 I think his philosophical outlook is something that would resonant with ISFps. Perhaps with INFps as well, though... Viewed from a socionical perspective, Office Space is essentially an excoriation of Te-based lifestyles, so either of the Te-PoLR types would be fitting for the protagonist. I guess I'm leaning toward ISFp because while there is some emphasis on the concept of "meaning" (a typical Ni theme), there's also the concomitant impression that any meaning that can be extracted from life is self-evident and that any sort of journey, quest or search to find this meaning would be redundant and pointless. Thus the main character, in a fashion typical to Si types, can contentedly aspire to a relatively simple, mellow lifestyle centering around comfort and leisure. It's been a while since I've last viewed the film so I don't feel confident in declaring the ISFp typing to be an outright certainty, though. On another note, I have an extremely clear conception of the actor, Ron Livingston, as an ENFj. -- Anonymous
A3 Gibbons and Lumbergh are perfect enimies. A1 is right on, Gibbons is an INFP, Lumbergh is an ESTJ. Lumbergh is very pedantic about paperwork, which includes the new covers on the TPS reports, Lumbergh is obessed with every little detail, no matter how pointless, stupid, and unimportant. -- mmmyeah, so Peter, what's happening.
