DO INTJs have more trouble in relationships than INTPs? -- Solo |
|
A13 its a circumstatial question: I'm an I(N)TJ who for the longest time believed I was destined to be miserabal becaused I was unforgiving, however I've recently had a startling epiphany, I'm introverted and not shy, I'm intuitive and not insane, I'm deeply thoughtful but not emotionless, I'm judgmental but fair. A indication of shyness is anxiety while socializing, but I'm not anxious when in a social setting because I'm self-reliant. My self-reliance is the source of my confidence and yes it causes problems in relationships because I'm reluctant to accept people's opinions and to accept people's help, but I always show appreciation and gratitude for sharing their opinions and offering their help, which shows my self-reliance is not equal to arrogance. Likewise, the same can be said for being very intuitive, deeply thoughtful, and being judgmental as all cause problems but not without a solution. Undoubtedly, I'm under the sway of an E(s)Fj who's helped me immensely with discovering who I am and to rectify this with what I expect myself to be. Unfortunately, we're no longer in contact, but I continue hoping this is circumstantial, as an intermediate between stages of duality. So, if I you asked that question even a few months ago, I'm sure my repsonse would have been conclusively: "...and that's why INTJ's definitely have more trouble in relationships than INTP's". Reflectively, your question could be rephrased as : "do semi-identical types have semi-identical problems?" Yes and no, generally they both have hidden agendas, but specifically these agendas differ. -- Anonymous |
A14 In my experience, being an intj and having an intp who is a long-time close friend of mime, intps have better luck romantically than intjs. i think we are both reasonably good looking men but, he allways seems to get the ladies and i dont as often i dont know what it is maybe the fact that intps are more collected and less frantic or the fact that they are mysterious in their or maybe they just have a better command of social situations than intj-even though i think they are far more rude and snobby in their own way but they just know how to handle them selfs better than we do around other people. perhaps not any other pair of int-j-p have this dynamic but this is what i have seen -- NT |

A15 A12- except if there are problems between an INTj and INTP, they would ignore them for a long period of time, and then abruptly end the relationship. Feelers are mor emotionally honest and bring up stuff before it becomes an issue that could break up the relationship. -- Anonymous |
