Question #1155991121 | Saturday, 19-Aug-2006 |

Hello, I have submitted this question to another socionics forum with no luck. I have not read much on static and dynamic functions as pertaining to relationships. Why is it that perceivers are paired with perceivers but they are not paired static with static? For example ESFp is a static type and is paired with the dynamic type INTp for a dual. Could someone please explain why this difference in "life rhythm" or whatever (as I said i have not read and need explanation) will work while the life rhythm of a perceiver and that of a judger is said to be mismatched? -- JP |

A1 According to Model A a person's mental functions are either all static or all dynamic; likewise the same person's vital functions are all dynamic or all static respectively. Further the ego functions (mental) of one's dual are one's own super-id functions (vital). Thus in theory a dual relationship provides the activity of one partner provides mental stimulation for the other. -- metroGnome |
