A1 Not to beat a dead horse, but I posted something in the socionics Q&A about a book called "The Edge Effect". The author denotes why people have the eight psychological preferences, and people with higher amounts of GABA in their brains are P's and people with lower amounts are J's. (Please verify this on your own, I am going by memory.) However, I can say for sure that although there might be some method of temporarily changing your J/P preference, it is genetically predetermined, at least according to this source. -- econdude |
