| What are the most important features that can help to distinguish between an ISTJ and an ISTP? What aspects of their behavior would you suggest to look at more closely, what questions to ask in order to verify the type? -- Alex |

| A1 ISTps work to produce results, and follow rules and regulations to avoid getting into trouble. ISTjs work because they believe they should, and they follow rules and regulations because they feel its the "right" thing to do. ISTPs understand laziness, although they may be very hard workers. ISTJs are for the most part intolerant of laziness. ISTPs like crazy, radical, "out there" types of things more than ISTJs. Also ISTJs are very punctual, while an ISTP is a lot more likely to be late for something. -- Woodrow
