A1 Unbalance in the human psyche (over and underdeveloped functions) serves its purpose by making us socially dependable beings. The developed and underdeveloped areas of the psyche are created because the balance is normally shifted one way. The developed areas are usually progressive, tough and can take lots of beating whereas the underdeveloped areas are mostly regressive, weak and sensitive and usually serve as the "psychological circuit breakers" to avoid the overload when the developed areas get carried away. Overriding these "circuit breakers" could technically improve your performance, but the brightest candle burns faster. -- Admin
