Are there any quick ways to distinguish between an ENTP and an ENFP? -- Anonymous |

A1 Well an ENTP would find it more natural, when they are in a stressful relationship situation, after emotions have calmed down, to objectively ananlyze the situation, whereas ENFPs would find it more natural to deal with the affective and interpersonal aspects of a relationship head-on. That doesnt mean an ENTPs ananlysis of the situation is correct, as they tend to make lobsided judgments about people's emotions towards them, but it just means they feel much more uneasy about taking the emotional aspects head on, finding it much easier to use their logic as a weapon. -- Anonymous |
A2 Tell them they are being illogical and list the reasons why or ask them their beliefs about love. The answers you get will make it obvious whether they are T or F. -- ptl |
A3 I find that ENFPs just seem warmer and friendier. they usually laugh easier too. But on the phone I have mistaken an ENTP for an ENFP. He was very jovial as ENTPs can often be. Once I met them in person the difference was obvious. Less warm. again just more distant feeling and aloof. even though extroverted. I sensed coldness in his personality that really turned me off. It always happens with that type. But I'm an INFJ so this info not be helpful for another type say a thinking type. -- Gail |
